Notice of Special General Meeting and Annual General Meeting
Dear members, players and families,
Southern Beaches Rugby Club Inc will hold a Special General Meeting followed by its Annual General Meeting:
Date: Wednesday 4 November 2026
Venue: Windale Gateshead Bowling Club
Time: Special General Meeting at 6:00pm, followed immediately by the Annual General Meeting
SPECIAL RESOLUTION (COMMITTEE STRUCTURE)
The Special General Meeting will vote on a change to the constitution that formalises the two vice-president roles (Seniors and Juniors) and provides for four ordinary committee members, giving a committee of nine. The full wording and the reasons are in the attached special resolution document. A special resolution needs at least 75% of the votes cast by members entitled to vote.
WHO CAN VOTE
– Players who have paid 2026 registration with Southern Beaches are members through registration and don’t need to do anything further.
– One parent or guardian per registered player under 18 may vote for that child. If you have two children registered, two parents or guardians may vote.
– Anyone else who would like to be a member and vote must apply using the form below and pay by 5pm Wednesday 28 October 2026.

Membership fee: $5. Payment details: (payment details are on the form)
Applications are approved by the committee. Membership starts once your application is approved, payment is received and your name is entered in the register. Only financial members aged 18 or over can vote, and proxy voting isn’t permitted.

Nominations must be received by 28 October 2026 and need the support of two members. Nominees and their supporters must be members by that date.

We are so excited to be entering our 3rd season for Beaches Breakers, once again seeing over 100 registrations. The previous seasons have been fantastic, and we have loved seeing our rugby superstars develop and grow!
